The Plants, Soils, and Climate Department is a diverse department with expertise in both the biological and physical sciences. Our undergraduate programs educate students in one of several degree areas to prepare them for success in their chosen occupation or for continuing studies at the graduate level. The department is also committed to a broad education emphasizing diversity of experience and study, and fostering scholarship in the community. In addition to undergraduate programs, the department has strong graduate programs in biometeorology, and the plant and soil sciences.
