Biography

Dr. Wang's research covers the dynamics and predictability of the Earth's climate system. His research interest includes attribution analysis - that is - understanding the role of natural variability versus that of human-caused climate change. Recent research of Dr. Wang involves the mechanisms of California drought, 2015 Texas floods, 2016 Louisiana flood and other extreme events in North America and Asia. He also conducts research in severe storms and towards climate prediction.
